   Travel is very costly (especially for wheelchair dependent individuals), and many of our prospective clients live in nursing homes where their spending allowance is on average only forty dollars a month. Some companies that offer assistance do not offer evening or weekend hours (which is when most families get together), and do not offer travel outside of the county.

   As a result, many wheelchair dependent individuals only get out for medical appointments. Heartstrings of Cleveland, Inc is dedicated to helping them experience a better life, whether through attending a family dinner or special planned event, all with the help of fundraising and grants.
